ENTERING THE PARADE

We hope that you will considering entering the Parade. You can access the entry forms and materials on the Entry Form Page. Entries into the Parade are classified into one of 11 categories:

              1       Marching Units (Major) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

              2        Antique Vehicles - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

              3        Equestrian (Individual) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

              4        Equestrian (Group) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

              5        Family, Group or Individual Entry - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

              6        Young Set (Age 12 & under) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

              7        Commercial Entries or Floats - 1st, 2nd, 3rd  (trophy awards only)

              8        Non-Commercial Floats - 1st, 2nd, 3rd  (trophy awards only)

              9        Fire Apparatus:  Melvin C. Neuman Award for BEST APPEARING COMPANY IN PARADE

                                                     Best Appearing Engine

                                                     2nd Best Appearing Engine

                                                     Best Appearing Truck Company

                                                     Best Appearing Ambulance

            10         Recreational Vehicle - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

            11         Non Competing

Trophies are awarded in each category (excepting Non Competing). The cash prizes include the Judges Awards for BEST INTERPRETATION OF THEME: 1st prize: $150;  2nd  prize: $100, and;  3rd prize: $50. The 9^th Annual Mary Frances Sheppard Award for the BEST ENTRY IN PARADE is $150.
